  1. 1. Tickets

    Tickets may be sold and purchased only in Ontario.

    Ticket purchasers must be 18 years of age or older.

  2. 2. 50/50

    The 50/50 is a draw where the money received in ticket sales is divided evenly between the winner and the charity.

  3. 3. Important Dates & Draw Information

    Early Bird 1 ticket sales deadline: May 31, 2024 at 4:30:00 p.m. EDT

    If for some reason, the draw cannot take place on the draw date listed, a substitute draw date and time will be selected. All ticket purchasers will be able to see the amended draw date and time information posted on the same website the ticket was purchased.

    Draw will be held at Sheridan College, Oakville Campus parking lot

    The winning ticket is drawn using Random Number Generator software (RNG). 

    All ticket holders are welcome to attend the draw.

    Winners will be posted online at https://oakvillefamilyribfest.rafflenexus.com/winners on June 23, 2024.

  4. 4. Winner

    Winner will be contacted by phone by the Rotary Club of Oakville Trafalgar.

    Winners consent to release of their names by licensee.

    If a winning ticket bears a minor's name, the prize will be lawfully delivered on behalf of the minor to the minor's parent, legal guardian or trustee.

    No tickets will be purchased by the Board of Directors of the Rotary Club of Oakville Trafalgar or employees involved with the conduct and management of the ticket raffle.

  5. 5. Privacy

    Rotary Club of Oakville Trafalgar does not sell, rent or exchange any personal information collected from our supporters with any other organization or entity.

  6. 6. Complaints

    Any complaints can be directed to the raffle administrators by emailing: tim.wilson@manulifesecurities.ca. Administrators will review the complaint and take action if necessary.

  7. 7. Other

    Please email our team at tim.wilson@manulifesecurities.ca should you require a refund for any ticket purchases or would like to issue a complaint, and we would be happy to assist you.

Rule of Play for 50/50 Electronic Raffle:

1.The lottery will take place from April 15, 2024 to June 23, 2024.
2. Tickets will be sold online and to people who are 18 years of age or older.
3. Tickets are 3 tickets for $5, or 10 tickets for $10, or 60 tickets for $20, or 180 tickets for $50.
4. Tickets will be for sale on site during the Ribfest starting at 11am on June 21, 2024 and closing at 5pm on June 23, 2024.

5. Tickets will be sold using electronic raffle system supplied by
Raffle Nexus Canada
6. Online buyers will be given an electronic receipt with their 50/50 registered numbers from a Random Selection System. No specific numbers can be given as numbers are generated randomly.
6a.  On site buyers will be sent an email with their ticket numbers.
7. The winning ticket number for first Early Bird Draw of $250, will be selected at 5pm on May 15, 2024 and announced online.
8. The winning ticket number for second Early Bird Draw of $250, will be selected at 5pm on June 17, 2024 and announced online.
9.  The winning ticket number for the Grand Prize will be selected at 6pm on June 23, 2024 and will be announced on site and online at 6:05pm, June 23, 2024.
10. The amount of the 50/50 will be available online and will be updated in real time.
11. The winner will be identified online and may claim their prize by contacting The Rotary Club of Oakville Trafalgar at: 289-813-5540, or by email at: info@rcot.ca. The ticket may then be brought to 233 Robinson St, Oakville, ON L6J 1G5 at an agreed upon time for ticket verification. The winner will then be paid by cheque for the amount posted at the event for which they bought their ticket. Winners must have the original winning ticket and no copies. All payments will be made by cheque.
12.  The winning ticket holder has 6 months in which to claim their prize from the date of the draw their ticket was purchased for.
13. The winner must provide his/her name, address and phone number with picture identification for our report sheet.
14. Once the certified winner is verified, and provides identification with photo ID, they will be given a cheque in the amount of the declared prize which is, at minimum, 50% of the total sales for that game. If the winner cannot provide photo ID, then the winning proceeds will be held until such identification can be provided.
15. If no winner comes forward the number will be posted on the Rotary website. 
17. In the event that no winner comes forward, the winning stub will kept in a safety deposit box and held for 6 months. After that time period has elapsed the prize will be donated to a charity other than Rotary Club of Oakville Trafalgar, with the approval of the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO).
19. The above set of rules will be posted at each event.
